The prevention department visited Nkhungwini High School for a dialogue with all pupils but had them in different groups by grade and age like we first had form 4 and 5, and later form 1, 2 and 3 respectively. During the dialogue the team educated, empowered and equipped the pupils on life skills and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights. Some of the topics discussed were the different stages of adolescent, peer pressure, self-esteem, sexual relationships and teenage pregnancy prevention. The pupils were excited that the team had come to educate them on the very same topics that they hoped someone would discuss with them and never be judged.
They also stated that they needed someone who could explain to them about the issues that they encounter in their everyday life regarding their bodies, sexual desires and peer pressure. It was a fruitful meeting as the pupils were able to state some of the reasons why the pregnancy rate seem to be high and how they wish they can work with the team in reducing teenage pregnancy.

Pupil were empowered and had more knowledge on the topics that they taught because they felt they would now be able to make the right decisions than before.
